Abstract

To obtain high productivity from cattle, it is necessary to create a good feed base, develop and implement advanced methods of preparation and distribution of feed. One of the main ways to boost beef production is to improve the preparation and use of concentrated feed. There are different ways to improve the quality and nutritional value of feed. One of them is the extrusion of concentrated feed, which is considered the most effective. In the structure of the diet for fattening calves, 30-40% are concentrated feeds.

Improving the quality, nutritional value and digestibility of concentrated feed by processing is relevant. The productivity of animals increases with the use of up to 40% of the extruded feed.
