Abstract

The implementation of the principles of the “green” economy and organic animal husbandry is also extremely important. This implies a transition to feeding systems that minimize the impact on the environment. The use of local forage crops adapted to arid conditions will reduce dependence on external resources, reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with feed transportation, and reduce soil erosion. The development of new complex feed mixtures enriched with essential trace elements and additives (probiotics, prebiotics, enzymes) will increase the digestibility of feed and reduce waste.
